While exploring the neighboring woods, 13-year-old John discovers an unfinished bunker — a deep hole in the ground. Seemingly without provocation, he drugs his affluent parents and older sister and drags their unconscious bodies into the bunker, where he holds them captive. As they anxiously wait for John to free them from the hole, the boy returns home, where he can finally do what he wants.

Can't believe I wasted 1 hour and 43 mins of my life on this. I kept waiting for something to happen and it never really did. And what was with the other little girl? Was it meant to portray the absolute opposite of John? Very bizarre film.

This movie is definitely not going to be for everyone. It is very creepy and disturbing. Shotwell does a really good job here. How I rate: 1-3 :heart: = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 :heart: = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too 9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!
